Built at the edge of field and grove
Birchfield uses pale timber, broad glazing and low rooflines to keep attention on seasonal light. Rooms look either towards the open field or through a birch grove, while shared spaces gather around one warm central hearth.
“The design is deliberately quiet so Finnish light can remain the strongest material.”

How birch light shapes the rooms
Windows are placed to catch changing light through trunks without exposing rooms to one another. Pale timber carries that brightness indoors, while blackout and thermal comfort remain available when guests want to close the view. The result stays practical through both summer and winter.
A kitchen between field and lake
The concise menu follows ingredients that nearby farms and waters can supply consistently. Preserved berries, roots and grains carry seasonal flavour into colder months. Dietary needs should be shared early because a small kitchen relies on careful preparation rather than an unlimited parallel menu.
Using private sauna time well
Reservable rooms allow enough time for heating, cooling and unhurried rest without turning bathing into a checklist. One session before dinner is often enough. Sauna Studios place the ritual closest, while Birch Rooms and Open Suites remain a short sheltered walk away.
